Delivery Policy

How we Deliver:

We are always looking for better and faster ways to get you your order, we use range of couriers like Toll, Fastway Couriers, TNT & Couriers Please depending on their speed of service and Australia Post for smaller items. We may also choose to use our in-house delivery service for bulky or heavy items such as Switchboards, Poles & Cable, however poles will be usually delivered via hiab crane truck.

Where we Deliver:

We generally deliver cartons and parcels throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area, you will need to contact us regarding regional deliveries and pricing. Conditions such as maximum delivery distance, surcharges, minimum order quantity and dated scheduling may be applied to bulky or heavy item orders such as Switchboards, Poles, Brackets & Cable.

Delivery Times:

We endeavour to get your order out as quickly as possible. Stock items sent via the standard delivery option are usually dispatched within 24hrs of receiving clear payment and delivery times may vary from 1-3 days depending on the carrier and your location. Bulky & heavy items such as switchboards, cable, brackets and poles require specialised delivery options which will need to be arranged before dispatch, delivery times on these may vary from 2-5 days depending on delivery option and your location. Our express delivery option offers expedited delivery on our stock items with same day delivery if ordered before 8am or next day delivery otherwise.

Types of Deliveries:

You will need to select the appropriate delivery option for your order at the checkout otherwise you risk failed dispatch or delivery delays.

Standard -Parcel / Carton: Usually limited to 25Kg and 100L (50cmx50cmx40cm) per delivery intended for goods-boxes and loose items able to be packed into a carton.

Special Delivery-Truck: Intended for orders that can’t be packed into a carton (50cmx50cmx40cm), usually includes items such as cable rolls, cable cuts, switchboards, pillars, brackets. We are usually able to include parcels and cartons with this delivery at no additional charge.

Special Delivery-Crane Truck: Intended for orders that require a crane lift, usually includes items such as switchboards, poles, oversized cable drums. We are usually able to include parcels and cartons with this delivery at no additional charge.

Sydney Metro Delivery for orders under $400.00 *conditions*:

In order to keep our catalogue prices as low as possible any parcel/carton order under $400.00+gst will incur a flat fee delivery charge of $30.00+gst. Bulky or heavy items such as Poles, Cable, Cable Drums & Switchboards are not included as part of this delivery service and may require a truck/crane truck delivery option subject to other delivery charges we call this a special delivery. Parcel/Carton deliveries are usually limited to 25Kg and 100L per delivery.

Free Delivery for Sydney Metro *conditions*:

We will deliver carton/parcel orders over the value of $400.00+gst free of charge within the Sydney Metropolitan Area. This includes one parcel/carton usually up to 25Kg and 100L per order. Bulky or heavy items such as Poles, Cable, Cable Drums & Switchboards are not included as part of this delivery service and may require a truck/crane truck option subject to other delivery charges we call this a special delivery.

Bulky/Heavy Item Delivery – Special Delivery:

Bulky and heavy items require specialised carriers for delivery and are subject to further terms, conditions and surcharges. Poles usually require a crane truck for delivery, cable and bulky items usually require a truck. These deliveries need to be arranged and scheduled in advance.

Delivery Costs Sydney Metro:

Standard Delivery: 1 carton at 25Kg & 100L maximum. Cost: $30.00+gst.

Additional Surcharge: Where the combined weight and volume is above 25Kg & 100L limit. Cost: $25.00+gst/ carton.

Express Delivery: Immediate dispatch for same day delivery on stock items if ordered by 8am, otherwise next business day. Cost: $90.00+gst.

Truck Delivery- No Crane: Oversized Cable, Cable Rolls, Bulky/Heavy Items. Cost $80.00+gst

Crane Truck Delivery: Required for Poles, Switchboards and Oversized Cable Rolls: $140.00+gst. Please note we may be able to combine cartons with this delivery to complete the order.

Delays:

We will endeavour to ensure the delivery is made on time however Level 2 Shop will not accept any responsibility or provide any sort or compensation on delivery delays forced upon us from our carrier and freight partners.
